Bunch of early in career folks trying to shit on Cisco. Every single comment so far is wrong. As of Q2, new grad offers come with stock. Not sure if the lowballed person will post their offer — probably got low balled because they had no competing offers. We’re not FANG and not going to pay you $200k out of school without driving any business value and have no experience whatsoever. Also, every grade at Cisco has a bonus structure. Some are 25% or higher — as a masters grad, you’d come at G6, which is 8% bonus. I imagine new G6 offers are like 130-150k base + some stock + 8% bonus. We also have sweet benefits that you don’t get at a lot of other companies really (4-5 weeks PTO, 4.5% 401k vest immediately, ESPP plan with 2 year lock, work remotely anywhere in the world/travel) And lastly, Cisco is not where people go to retire — our stock has doubled in the past 1.5 years and we’re doing a complete transformation of the company. I work there as a data scientist and I can assure you there are pockets of really, really interesting work. Like all companies, there are places of boring stuff (support side, customer service, etc). Sad to see uninformed people try to tarnish the “original” FANG. I’ll never understand...Cisco connects the world — without us, there would have been no Google, FB, Insta, Netflix, etc. and there will continue to not be in third world countries until we bring networking there. Newsflash - you're not entitled to get FANG salaries if you have <3.0 GPA in school. If you want FANG salaries, go interview at FANG if you can. This sub is seriously brainwashed into thinking you DESERVE so much money out of school - that is not how the World works. Please have realistic expectations (at least to start your career).

Cisco doesn't give out RSUs to new grads (usually). You do get a signon bonus, and can purchase stocks at a lower price (ESPP). pm me if you have specific questions..
