r/CreditCards on Reddit: Citi Has Separate Logins for Personal & Business Cards?
March 17, 2025 -

Something strange happened to my Citi online account. I used to be able to access all of my personal cards and my American Airlines business card through one login. After a fiasco combining my ThankYou Rewards accounts, my online account only shows personal cards. When I called the customer service line about it, I was told that business cards are supposed to have a separate login.

A separate login?! Amex allows you to see all cards at once, both personal and business. When I attempted to link the business card to my online account, the website wouldn't let me. Is this the same with everyone else? Do people actually have two separate logins to access their Citi personal and business cards?

r/CreditCards on Reddit: Citi business Aadvantage - does it show on the Citi app?
May 17, 2024 -

I have the Citi Costco personal card and have had it for a couple years. I applied for the Citi business Aadvantage card a week ago and I should be receiving the physical card in the next couple days.

Do I need to activate the business card to have it show in my existing Citi app? Or will it not show since it is a biz card vs personal? Or will I have to merge the two accounts to have them both show in my app?

Does anyone have both personal and biz cards from Citi and can give me a DP on this?

r/CreditCards on Reddit: Has anyone recently been able to link their AA CitiBusiness card to their online account with personal cards?
July 14, 2023 -

I got the Citi AA biz card earlier this year. At the time I wasn't able to add it to my account with personal cards, so I created a separate online account. Some time later, I was reading that people were able to add their Citi biz cards to the same account as their personal cards.

Just today P2 applied for the AA biz card while logged in to her Citi account containing two personal cards. She was instantly approved, and the new card showed up in her account. It is one of 3 cards there, right along with her Prestige and Custom Cash.

I tried adding my AA biz card to my Citi account with my personal cards, and it said it was not able to be added. I thought maybe it's because it is already connected to an account, but I do not want to delete that account in case I cannot connect it to my personal account anyway. I chatted and called Citi customer service, and both said that it isn't possible to have both personal and business cards in the same account. I know that's not true, because P2's account has both.

Here is proof that P2's Citi AA biz card is in the same online account as her personal Citi cards.

Is there any known trick or workaround to make this happen?

Best Citi Business Credit Cards Of 2025 – Forbes Advisor
March 7, 2025 - Business credit cards are designed for and issued to businesses of any size. The benefits, rewards and fees are structured toward the needs and goals of businesses, not those of an individual. For instance, business cards often allow cardholders to issue employee cards and sometimes offer compatibility with QuickBooks or other business-grade accounting software. If you’re set on a Citi business card, the pickings are slim, but each card is so specialized and unique that it should make choosing one more straightforward.
