Hi,
Does anyone from Citibank monitor this forum?
'cause there have been problems logging into citi.com for literally years now. Firefox, latest version, on Windows 10 or 11.
Let's say you let a browser session in citi.com time out, or you just close the browser without logging out. The next time you sign in, after the site cycles through several pages, you get thrown back into the login screen with the message, "You've successfully logged off." or "You were signed out due to inactivity, but you can log in again whenever you’re ready." Over and over and over, 3, 4, sometimes 9 times before you are able to sign in.
Even when you do sign off and close the browser, the next time you sign in and enter the username and password, after cycling through several pages it still kicks you back into the login screen with the message, "You've successfully logged off." Well, duh.
One way to get out of this doom loop is to deliberately enter the wrong password and then try again. It works 90% of the time. But that risks an account lockout. Not worth it.
They tell you to clear cache and cookies. But that affects all the other banking sites I go to. I have a Firefox profile that I use only for banking, financial and insurance sites. Only Citibank has this login problem. Everything else works.
When is Citibank going to fix this problem ?!?!?!
