I've had this app on my phone for a few years. Today when I went to open it, it kept closing before it even opened. Literally click flash the page close. I finally uninstalled it. Rebooted my phone. Reinstalled. Icon looks different, same issue. Never even get to log in screen. Just click, flash, close!!! Anybody else having this issue or is it just me <scratching head>
UPDATE: It's 7:45pm EST and for the 10th time I deleted the app. Rebooted my phone. Reinstalled the app. And freaking finally out worked!!!! I urge everyone to try it one more time!!!
Hello, so for literally 2 years or something like that I couldn't login to Citi's app. Browser works no issues, but the app just always says "Trouble signing on? Please try again." No matter what. I have literally tried everything. I called them more times than I can count and they never do anything. It specifically happens on my phone to. So if I login to the app from literally any other phone it lets me login so I am assuming they blocked my phone specifically or something? I don't know but any help would be appreciated.
I regularly have problems with the Citibank mobile app. It crashes constantly. I have to uninstall force stop, clear data, clear cache and then reinstall it. And then finally it'll work. But to make it worse I had a transaction that they didn't want to let through so I clicked on the email approving the transaction from the fraud alert and it still wouldn't go through. so I called them and because their app does not actually send push notifications and the people in the call center in India or wherever the hell they are think that it does send tpush notifications, they can't verify me. So they said I had to call from a phone number that is verified. and I told them I've had the same phone number for 15 years and I don't have any other phone numbers and now my whole account is locked out until I get something in the mail because they have some mysterious phone number that they got from some random public record and I have no idea what it is. and of course they won't tell me where I can find it so I can make sure it is correct. Not what it is, but just where they found it. "Public records". Sounds like an Indian scam job when they call and tell you your ssn is "frozen." By the way the phone number I was calling them from is the phone number that I have on the Citibank app site and website of the same phone number linked to my bank account that I've had for 5 years with this Citibank account
The CitiBusiness Mobile App doesn't work on new iPhone 17 - error message says "an attack on this mobile application has been detected" and it then shuts down. I called Citi and they said they're aware of the situation - something about Apple's new security - and are working on it. They told me that I should call Apple! LOL - absurd. If no fix in the next couple of days, I guess we have to go back to hard token. #fail
