What is the My Best Buy Credit Card?

How are my points calculated with the My Best Buy Credit Card and My Best Buy Visa Card?
I just recently got the Best Buy credit card through Citibank. I rarely shop Best Buy, I figured it would be a good line to keep open. I for the life of me can’t even log in to CitiBank for Best Buy, can’t even put my card on there to register or anything. Continuously says “error”. My boyfriend had the same thing with Citibank and the Best Buy card. Any tips because I’m about to just close it?
I need access to my account number, but I’ve never had a physical card for here; it’s always been the store card. I can walk in and show my ID, input my SSN and I can make purchases. I could do with online or over the phone.
I recently was approved for a BT- 0% for balance transfers made in the first 30 days. I was dumb about it, and I didn’t request a physical card before I was approved. Now I’m worried about timing out of the offer. Best Buy and Citi Bank are being zero help in the matter. I’ve been hung up on and yelled at. I requested a physical card, verified that the information was correct. I waited about 2 weeks and I called back in- and it was sent to the wrong address.
I very much doubt they are specifically messing with me, I’m not that paranoid, but it certainly feels that way. Do you guys have any advice for me? Ever been in a similar situation?
I called customer service and they said they couldn’t verify it with my phone number (which is the only one on the account). They wouldn’t take my social security number because apparently that’s not part of the verification. They wouldn’t tell me why my account needed to be verified in the first place. I don’t know what to do. I got nothing resolved. They told me they would call, send a letter, or an email. 🙃
I'm thinking about applying for this card as Best Buy is a retailer I visit semi-frequently. I was wondering how people who do have the card have been liking it or why people avoid it. To me, it seems like a somewhat better version of the Apple Card, since you get 5% back at Best Buy, 3% back on gas, and the flexibility to finance more than just Apple products. What do you think?
