I grew up in Sonoma County, which I've often heard it as the North Bay from newspapers and radio stations. I don't call myself a Bay native because I have this conception that only East Bay (Richmond, Oakland, Hayward, etc.) and SF/Daly City/ etc are what makes "the Bay Area."
What are people thoughts? This is something I've thought about given that as I'm writing cover letters for local jobs, I don't know to mention if I'm a B.A. local.
