September 2, 2024 - I'm using my company's Google Vertex AI and I get the same overloaded error. 😐 ... How could it be! I thought Amazon Bedrock and Google Vertex should use their own computing resources, or at least dedicated computing resources provided by Anthropic. Besides, a friend of mine is using both Bedrock and Anthropic APIs simultaneously, and he said the stability/availability of the Bedrock API is significantly better than that of the Anthropic API.

Our web application is connected with Claude via the api, when it works, it works well. But we are getting a lot of overload errors from Claude, sometimes we need to refresh 3-4 times before it works. We have paying customers and this is becoming an issue. Is there any way to resolve this? I'm starting to doubt if Claude is suitable for our needs. Maybe we need to move to ChatGPT, although I like the answers of Claude better.

I've been using Claude API for some tasks and i got overloaded responses every second time.

I've checked token inputs/outputs and it's approx 1k so not big compared to what it could do.

This is not helpful to you, but I use it as reminder to sit back and think about whatever problem I was using Claude to solve. That means either 1) going through the code Claude already generated to make sure I fully understand it or 2) reviewing my progress to make sure I'm still on the right track and whether there might be better approaches. I found it very easy to do 8+ hours coding with LLMs across ChatGPT Gemini and Claude, but it was not necessarily the best way to spend my time. I try to better integrate Claude in to my work so it is less impactful when it's offline or limited.

EDIT: Now I have gotten that exact error. Also some replies are empty for no reason.

I haven't gotten this exact error, however my inferences just cut off in strange places, like in the middle of the first or second sentence. Claude has always done this on rare occasions but it's getting to the point where I have to run API calls up to 3 or 4 times to get a full answer in some cases.

Anyone experiencing an "overload of overloads" in Claude Code? Today is the worst it's ever been. Literally over two dozens API Errors (529) in an hour. My buddy reports the same on his end. Is this because Kiro is using Sonnet, or what gives? Is Anthropic aware? I'm a paying customer of Claude Code, would love a working piece of software.
