Seem Anthropic want to push Claude Code as alternative to other tools like Cursor and push their Max subscription. May be one day a merge into Claude Desktop.

Claude Code is IMO the single most powerful tool for AI coding we have available, but its problem has always been that you could burn through $100’s of dollars a month if you’re not careful. If max now includes Claude Code, I think for a lot of us coders that alone puts Claude back to the top of the pack. I have no clue why they didn’t announce this when revealing the max subscriptions: this would’ve made that pill 100x easier to swallow.

I've spent $100 a day on Claude code multiple times. Paid through my work, so I don't really try to manage context if it slows me down. I wonder if it would cover 100% of this.

The complexity of your prompts and the responses. Compacting the context often helps. No. I think there is a confirmation bias happening there. The number of prompts is just an estimate to give you an idea of how many prompts you can expect to get out of the number of tokens you are allotted in a given 5-hour window. I've hit the window a few times, and all it does is revert from Opus to Sonnet, and there isn't a huge dropoff in quality, in my opinion. I think Claude 4 Sonnet is still better than any 3.7 models. I do notice a difference, but it's not a huge deal, I don't think. If it's that big of a deal to you, just wait a bit and then go back when your 5 hours reset. It tells you the time when it will reset. More on reddit.com

I was genuinely surprised when somebody made a working clone of my app Shotomatic using Claude in 15 minutes.
At first I didn't believe it, so I decided to give it a try myself. I thought, screw it, and went all-in for the $200 Max plan to see what it could really do.
Man, I was impressed.
The feature (the one in the video) I tried was something like this:
You register a few search keywords, the app (Shotomatic) opens the browser, runs the searches, and automatically takes screenshots of the results. The feature should seamlessly integrate with the existing app.
The wild part? I didn’t write a single line of code.
The entire thing was implemented using Claude Code, and I didn't touch the code myself at all. I only interacted through the terminal giving instructions. From planning to implementation, code review, creating of PR and merging, everything was done with natural language.
It was an insanely productive, and honestly a little scary experience.
