I ran a flow action on Claude 4 Sonnet (Thinking). It cost 🥁
A bit over 17 flow action credits. Oof!
Quantity of output was similar to Claude 3.7 Sonnet (Thinking) - which is 1.25 credits per flow action. Quality was better, not remarkably better but noticable if you paid close attention.
Worth it? No. Two calls to Claude 3.7 Sonnet (Thinking) would have resulted in the same output if not more. That's only 2.5 credits. And it would have taken the same amount of time, Claude 4 Sonnet (Thinking) is really slow right now.

I do use it sometimes, but only after 3.7 and 2.5 pro have failed to fix a bug or refactor something complex, multiple times. For me, 4 has been able to solve stuff that all other models have not. For reference: I use Windsurf for around 6hrs/day.
