Where do you buy your clothes?
Thrift shops, Costco and Gap. The trick is to take good care of your clothes so you will keep them longer and shop less. Use cold water, delicate cycle, not too much detergent and never put them in a dryer. Take care of your shoes/boots; clean them, polish the ones in leather and use a waterproof spray on them. Also buy clothes that are more neutral, fit well, that are not overly fashionable and never buy something with a date on it. Try to find your own style instead of mimicking others. I was a stylist for a while and I saw way too much people buying clothes that were just not for them. We all have that shirt in the back of the closet with the tag still on :) Even I. I think this definitely depends on your job and your lifestyle (active, sedentary, hobbies, etc). Some people will need outdoor gear, while some don’t. Some people will need clothes they can get very dirty in (gardening, painting, etc). Some people need active gear, swimwear, dress up clothing, suits, dress shoes, and some need none of that.
