The CSS profile sounds like a PITA to fill out. Is there an income/savings threshold where it is almost certainly a waste of time? All the boilerplate websites tell you to just fill it out anyway, but I dread digging up the info and paperwork they will require.
Does Carnegie make an "offer" if you are accepted, or is it like everyone pays sticker price unless they get aid? I'm not sure how to think about this.
I just received my offer, and my scholarship is missing, and my aid is $0! It says that I had a sibling in college last year and to expect changes, but I reported a sibling in college this year as well. Has anyone else had errors on their offer?
I am trying to check if Carnegie Mellon received my CSS. Where should I check? Before I got admission, there would be nothing in the aid portal, right?
