I’ve found green ones but not the shade I’m looking for
Hello everyone ! My goal is to get super dark green hair in a few months, so I'm starting to do some research. I saw in passing a woman with beautiful green hair saying she did not bleach her hair but "lifted" it before using hair dye so that the color was darker because it was mixing with her brown hair, which made the color deeper. I would like that as my hair has been previously lightened to a 7-8 (at least according to my research on bleach colors) and my hair was emerald green (which was fine but I'm looking for something darker). Does anyone have experience with this method ? My understanding after some light research is that she most likely used developer to get it to a shade closer to a 4-5 so that it looks almost a black/green. See attached picture. Thank you for your time !
I know this has already been posted here before,, but it’s been 3 years so maybe there’s been a change in the cosmos since then (get it, cosmo).
Is there really no way to get a deep dark green, almost like a green based black the way there’s blue based blacks, without lightening it first??? (Like in the second pic)
Is there still no permanent “hi lift” type dye in this color that can be used with a higher developer to achieve the look???????
I have many many layers of Kenra’s 1BL# on my hair currently and i fear that any kind of lifting, even just a couple levels, will not go over well lol. And then i have to worry about doing my roots, which are still very dark.
Has anyone cracked this code yet?????
