Give me important vocabulary
Does anyone know of a ranking of most basic/common words?
How common/used are these words in your daily life?
Are these words commonly used in daily life?
I personally use them multiple times a day.
Seriously though, I would say they are not common, but not incredibly rare either. They are definitely used.

Give me a word in English that I must know, regardless of level. Anything will help my English.
I'm wondering if anyone has a good ranking of the most common/basic words for a language learner. It can be in any language (I just want to see what words were chosen), and should be of substantial size, at least 500-1000 words or hopefully more.
The best example I can find is this: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Appendix:1000_basic_English_words
However, it's not ranked; I would prefer something that starts with super common words (me, you, this, that, go, now, big, food) and works down to the moderately common ones (rent, mountain, storm).
Edit: I am not looking for a word frequency list. I am looking for a word priority list from the perspective of a language learner (say, someone who wants to go live or travel in that country and be able to have everyday interactions). Word frequency lists usually show what words native speakers use in the corpus, which are not necessarily simple or useful for a language learner. For example if you make a word frequency list from Reddit, many of the most frequent words will be political words (policy, senator, election), but it doesn't make sense for a language learner to start with those. And it's OK that the list would be subjective or imperfect; I just want to see what attempts have been made.
