I'm planning to get a duvet insert and cover for my queen bed. I've heard great things about The Company Store duvets. They have a big sale on right now and I'm considering the Legends Hotel™ 3-in-1 Down Comforter, which I cludes both a lightweight and a mediumweight duvet that snap together.

Let me know what you think of this idea. I'm also open to other options. This sub led me to Red Land Cotton sheets, which I love!

I like the idea of down vs alternative down because I understand it's loftier, and I like the ability to adapt the duvet insert depending on the weather since I try to avoid running the AC/heat as much as possible and expect to live in a variety of climates in the future.

Some details: Fill is duck down, 500 fill power on both Shells are 300-count cotton sateen (I will be getting a cotton percale duvet cover) Cost is $450

Hi all, thanks for taking the time to read my post. I placed an order at The Company Store today after reading some reddit posts complimenting them. I was excited about the order and ended up doing a bit more research about the down comforter.

I found other down comforters for around $200, but thought survey these are not of the same quality. I did a few more searches for sateen down comforters, and so.ehoe stumbled across some reddit reviews saying that The Company Store sucks now.

I ended up on trusted pilot, and the reviews are horrible. Now I am very nervous that I made the wrong choice. Should I try to cancel the order, or still give it a shot. It sounds like I have 30 days to send it back of it is not the quality I expected?

This is my first King bed and my first really nice set of bedding. I really want to get it right, especially for this amount of money. If the company store is not to be trusted, where can I find this similar down comforter. I really like the sateen and the patterned design reminds me of a wonderful comforter I came across in a hotel once. Thank you!
