There is a section in Certmetrics that says “Fulfillment” and that shows the status of your certification kit. Other than that, I don’t believe you get any other communication from CompTIA and you just have to wait for it to arrive. In my experience, I think it took approximately 3-4 weeks from the time it updated to shipped status and the kit arriving to my house. But ymmv so just be patient. More on reddit.com

Do you have a login for Comptia certificate management? https://www.certmetrics.com/comptia/ If you never setup a Comptia account under certmetrics, there's a process to link it to your real person, I don't remember said process, I did mine 10 years ago when I was trying to pull my 2000 A+ You can pull down the PDF of your Cert. Will comptia allow you to get a copy of your certifications now? If memory serves back in 2003 when I passed my A+ and Network+ exams when I received my card and the frame sized certi it said something along the lines if you lose them you can not get a replacement. You should download the exam objectives from Comptia as your first step. CompTIA A+ is broken in two exams to be certified core 1 and core 2. Start watching Mike Chappel, Dion, and Professor Messir's YouTube videos. This will give you an excellent overview of the materials. The practice tests are also available for purchase on Udemy. They are on sale for like 15-20 bucks and scoring within the 75-90 percentile range is passing. Please do review PBQ performance based questions on YouTube to help with those questions which usually are the first few on the exam. Additionally, I highly recommend the Pocket Prep app. I continue to use it for other certifications I am pursuing, and occasionally I go over some of my older material to stay up to date.
