I found Darril Gibson's Get Certified Get Ahead SY0-601 textbook to be very useful. It contained nearly everything you would need to know for the test. I prefer reading over videos, and I found it went over everything you may find in Messer's Sec+ videos. I read it straight through and did the practice tests. I then read it over again and made some flash cards with Anki with everything I needed to remember. Darril Gibson also has a very useful study app on your Appstore that contains a ton of practice questions and flashcards called CompTIA Security+ SY0-601 Prep (LearnZ). More on reddit.com

I found Darril Gibson's Get Certified Get Ahead SY0-601 textbook to be very useful. It contained nearly everything you would need to know for the test.
