I’ve been diving into bedroom design lately and came across a stunning example of a contemporary bedroom that perfectly blends elegance with eclectic influences. It got me thinking—what makes a bedroom feel both luxurious and cozy? Is it the textures, color palette, or furniture choices?
Here’s an example I found inspiring:

I’ve been trying to decorate my master bedroom for the past 7 months and am struggling to determine the best theme/color palette. I’m thinking 80’s glam, art deco, hollywoodcrwgency, but have no idea where to start. My living room is maximalist(pictured), so I’d like to have my room a bit more sexy/subdued.
I did originally paint an accent wall(pictured), but decided it made it too difficult to work with everything else, so I painted it to match the other walls(Sherwin Williams - Oyster White). Now I’m just at a complete lost, since painting that wall didn’t add any clarity.
I like the curtains, the king bed is fairly new and I purchased the low profile nightstands recently, but realize that may not have been the best move in a vaulted ceiling room. I love a low profile bed look, but may not have the best ceiling for that.
Desperate for any tips, tricks, color palette ideas and decor recommendations y’all can provide. Thank you in advance!
