I have created Continuum, a fork of Infinity for Reddit.

I am following the author's requests.

1. My plan is not to try to make money off it.

2. I have no plans to put it on the Google Play Store.

3. It is intended as an alternative to Infinity for Reddit and Revanced copies of Infinity for Reddit.

4. I haven't decided if how close to Infinity for Reddit I am going to stay code wise. I have lots of ideas of how to improve it.

The main thing it adds for now is the ability to enter your own Client ID as a Setting.

Some of you may be aware I am also the author of a fork of Slide. I am not planning to stop developing Slide, but Continuum will take some time away from it.

Part 1:

1. Install the original, non-modified version of Infinity. Using Infinity for this part is required. You can pick your desired client on Part 2.

2. Click the hamburger (three line) icon, click "Press here to login", then click "Add an account".

3. Login to your account and allow the client to access your account. (If it prompts you to buy a subscription after clicking "Accept", just close the app)

4. You should now receive an email after allowing the client. Copy the "App ID" string from the email.

5. Uninstall Infinity.

Part 2: Patch configurations

1. Open the ReVanced app.

2. Tap "Patcher", then "Select an application".

3. Tap the "Storage" button and select your desired client's (doesn't have to be Infinity) APK file.

4. Tap "Selected patches" and make sure the two patches are checked.

5. Click the settings button beside the "Spoof client" patch.

6. Replace "null" with your "App ID" key. The App ID in the email is *universal*, meaning you can use it for any client, not just Infinity. (yes, "App ID" = "Client ID)

7. Click "Save", then click "Done".

Part 3: Patch, Install, and Login

1. Click "Patch".

2. Wait for it to patch. (around 15-20 seconds)

3. When it finishes, click "Install".

4. Open the patched app and login. (If login throws an error, try using Proton VPN and use a European country)

5. Done!

There is a new release, 7.4.4.3.

Continuum had been renamed internally. It will appear to be a new app on install of the new apk. This is a one time event.

Backup your settings in the old app, and restore in the new app. Be sure to use 7.4.4.2 to do your backup.

You can tell them apart both by the version number in About in Settings, and by the internal name that is now next to it.

It adds support for BYOK(Bring your own key) for Giphy. Follow the instructions here

Question, I’m about to take over a couple of clients that the previous MSP had that was using Continuum. I currently use Atera - does the Continuum API integrate with Atera? Basically looking for the ticketing aspect from Atera to possibly be combined with Continuum. Or am I looking at this all wrong?

A question, any way to put the subreddit name and title of the post over the image or text on card 2 design?

My last Reddit account was banned for using Revance on a 3rd party app. Fair enough. I've tried using the official one and I just cannot fucking stand it. What's the point in subscribing to subreddits I'm interested in, when Reddit is gonna spam me with shitposts in fucking r/plymouth (opposite end of the country)

I just want the old way, being able to browse having my settings & feed the way I like them. I've conceded I'll have to pay, that's fair. I like infinity the best but the usage limit puts me off. I've no idea what to sign up for. And, I don't want this account to be banned - I presume paying for a 3rd party app is considered legitimate by Reddit?

What do you guys recommend? I'd prefer as much customisation as possible, and not exorbitant

I've been researching different shaders since I recently got my first PC and Continuum RT boasting their Focal Engine which allows Vulkan rendering to take advantage of hardware raytracing sounds swell, but from what I can tell the shader hasn't recieved an update in like 4 years. Is the project just dead?
