I inherited a variety of pots and pans and other cookware from my grandmas. Then my mom gave me a some of her old cook ware a few years back. Then this past Christmas I received a non-stick cookware set. So now I have SO many pieces, many of which I never use. I'm trying to cull the ones I don't use, but since I'm working on learning some new techniques, I don't want to get rid of something I will end up needing. So professionals out there, what styles/sizes do I actually need to have a fully stocked kitchen without going overboard?
(I'm keeping grandma's cast iron regardless.)
EDIT to add: I usually cook for 4 (myself, husband, and 2 kids). Occasionally adult kiddo joins us and makes it 5. I also like to have leftovers for husband and I to reheat for lunch the next day.
