Only been living in Ohio since end of summer 2021, and always lived in a small apartment/house that kept cool. Now I live in a larger house with 5 roommates, and the cold air from the AC simply does not reach my bedroom. My room is consistently aroind 80-85 degrees.

I have 3-4 fans running all day long, and at night when it cools off I have my windows cracked. In the day I close the curtains to keep out sunlight. My room is still way hotter than the hall, I walk out and just get a blast of cold air. I know a few of the contributing factors to the heat. I have a gaming PC which obviously produces a lot of heat, but I don't use it during the day cause I'm at work usually until 9pm. I also have a pet lizard who uses a heat lamp in her tank, but the inside of her tank is around 85 degrees, same as my room. I feel like one heat lamp shouldn't make my whole room that temperature, but I might be wrong 😅

My point is, what are some good ways to keep my space cool during these hot summer days when AC isn't an option?
