I bought this a week ago! I sleep REALLY hot, so for $50 I thought, eh why not. Unfortunately, for me it’s just like most “cooling” things, where it’s cool to the touch at first, but eventually heats you up just like everything else. I don't think it was any cooler, but it definitely slides off the bed. I guess in this way it is "cooling"

I think they're gimmicky marketing garbage. You touch them and they feel cool for a few seconds. The reason being that they do in fact pull heat out of your skin due to their dense weave. But something with low mass can only pull heat out of your skin for a few seconds before it reaches thermal equilibrium with your skin and stops transferring heat. You'd be better off focusing on fabric types that promote airflow and breathability. Cotton, linen, maybe bamboo, etc.

I’m a hot sleeper so I sleep on top of comforters and not under it- I mainly got a comforter to make my bed look put together lol Upon laying on it, your body does warm up the comforter but it does stay cool to where I can rub my feet against another part of my bed and it’s cold. I used to wake up in the middle of the night being hot and sweaty and now I don’t.
