Hey everyone.
I recently bought a new duvet cover (cotton percale) and the lightest down comforter I could find. Despite keeping the room at 64 degrees at night, I'm still hot.
What material would you guys recommend for a hot sleeper like me? Cotton insert? Something else?
If you have any specific products in mind, all I want is a king-sized insert that has loops on the corners so I can tie the insert to the drawstrings that are built into the duvet cover.
Thanks you!
UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who responded. I appreciate all the good suggestions. I ended up buying the Your Moon wool blanket. Checked all the boxes of what I was looking for: All natural materials, corner loops, lightweight will still having some heft, and very reasonably priced.
Used it last night for the for the first time and couldn't have been happoer. It was perfect.
Definitely recommend it for other hot sleepers.

What Is The Best Material For A Cooling Comforter?
Hi,
I am looking for the ideal duvet insert, which for me would mean both fluffy yet cool, as I sleep rather hot. I have tried several ones, but never found the one...any recommendation ? which kind of material should I look for ? I have tried the following :
- 100% Silk duvet (Ikea) : good temperature-wise, but it's very thin and doesn't have any of that fluffyness / volume which I like.
- 4-season duvet made out of 50% polyester microfibre, 25% duck down and 25% duck feathers : super fluffy and comfortable, unfortunately too hot, I end up waking up sweating...
- Cotton weighted blanket : tried it for a while, but didn't like it too much, it doesn't have the fluffy feeling and was also keeping me too hot.
I know I sound difficult. But is there perhaps anything else a solution I haven't considered yet ? Do they make fluffy silk duvets (I didn't find any) ? I assume that a 100% down/feather duvet is gonna be just as hot than the one I have ?
Thanks !
