Hey all. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for a landline to be a wireless headset?
Landline phone system, adding cordless handset?
Can You Use USB-C Headphones on a Phone Without a Headphone Jack?
USB-C headphones exist, but they're often low-cost and hard to find. Apple has swapped its Lightning-equipped EarPods for USB-C-equipped ones and some device makers still offer them via Amazon.
Of course, you can also get a 3.5mm-to-USB-C adapter for your phone or a mobile-friendly digital-to-analog converter (DAC). Remember that if you plug something into the USB-C port, simultaneously listening to music and charging is only possible via a wireless charger. But compatibility is iffy.
If you've made peace with the wireless audio future, you can expand your search to include our favorite phones overall. You don't have to spend too much on wireless audio either; these are the best sub-$100 earbuds.

Why Have Most Phones Removed the Headphone Jack?
It has become difficult to find a flagship phone in the US with a headphone jack. The old 3.5mm plugs seem to be déclassé to high-end vendors, which want you to go wireless.
You have more choices in the sub-$400 segment, though. Manufacturers here seem to understand that buyers of affordable phones might not be willing or able to spend their money on wireless headphones. Google and Samsung have abandoned the plug in their midrange models, but Motorola, OnePlus, and others still sell handsets with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
You might notice that there aren't any iPhones in this roundup. iPhones haven't had 3.5mm jacks since 2016, and we don't recommend any phone that old (mostly due to limited or ending software support). We think Apple's calculus for getting rid of the jack was a little different than Android phone makers. Instead of saving space for the battery, we suspect it was more about making money from its AirPods. But the effect was the same.

Any ideas would be great. So I have a landline phone. Requires phone Jack. But I’m curious if anyone found a way to make it witless? Ty
Hello! I work in a restaurant with a multi line system. I would love a cordless phone as all of our phones are corded. Is there a way to add one in? I do have a headset jack but really do not like the headset. Is there any device similar to a cordless phone that will work plugged into the headset jack? This system is a bit older, and I am not positive the model #. It is panasonic
I work from home and have been using the Voyager 5200 Bluetooth headset with my cellphone. However the call quality on my cell phone is unreliable. I also have a 2 line landline office phone from Poly that has a 2.5mm jack. It has an on the ear headset that has a tube that picks up sound. Problem is that it also picks up my desk fan (which the Voyager does not). I bought a cheaper headset on Amazon that had a foam piece over the mic. It was worse than the tube headset. Can someone recommend a headset that would work for my situation? I also tried an 'Office' Bluetooth gizmo from Poly that plugged into the jack but I couldn't get it to connect to my cell phone. Thanks.
Hi,
I'm interested in purchasing an integrated landline phone + cordless headset combo.
What I dont want is a landline cordless phone and a separate wireless headset.
I'm looking basically for something like a call center phone, but where the headset is wireless. So something like this but where the headset is wireless.
Anyone has any idea if I can find something like it? All I can find is traditional landline + headset combo or as the above image but with wired headset.
Thanks
(I appreciate the question might be slightly out of topic wrt the subreddit, let me know if there is a better sreddit to move it to)
