Areas - This is specifically for dog hair removal. 90% of the area is carpet, stairs, edges of the room, hard to reach places. Bonus - being able to clean dog hair in my car.
I am looking for a handheld vacuum recommendation that has a lot of strength for cleaning up dog hair on carpet (on stairs, along the edges, etc). I would like a corded one as they would normally imply a stronger vacuum. It's very tiring carrying my full size vacuum around to use an attachment to clean stairs, edges, etc. I have bought a couple handheld cordless vacuums in the passed and they have all been pretty mediocre, hoping I can break that cycle! Thanks in advance.
The current one I am considering is the Shark CH950UKT.
I almost titled this post "A decent cordless hand vacuum that doesn't suck" but then realized that a "vacuum that sucks" is exactly what I want, hehe.
Anyway, many years back, I had a Dustbuster, and I think most people will recall that they were terrible. Didn't hold a charge, and even on full charge barely had any sucking power.
I'm looking for a small hand-vac to keep upstairs. Our light colored south facing house gets inundated with ladybugs in the autumn (when they come inside to hibernate) and spring (when they come out of hibernation) and it's annoying to have to constantly drag the regular vacuum around to deal with them.
I should mention that I'm not talking about just a couple ladybugs here and there... if that were the case, we'd pick them up and put them outside. I'm talking dozens upon dozens. Daily.
Anyway, after too much backstory, can anyone recommend a good hand-vac? Have they improved at all in the past 30 years?
Thanks!
