How to use CoreCtrl?
How do I add CoreCtrl to the autostart?
Unlocking corectrl, updating grub problems
CoreCtrl Official Repo?
I'm very confused, I installed it and for whatever reason the only sensor that shows up is CPU frequency, nothing else, no GPU (RTX 3070), no other GPU options, not even fans, not only to modify but literally nothing else shows up at all. I'm not sure how to even look for a solution, I tried googling and maybe I just suck at it but I can't find anything other than a few old threads about amd GPUs not showing up, in the corectrl it says that amd cpu options can be missing if you turn off amd cool n quiet in the bios but that's on.
I'm running manjaro plasma, on a system with a ryzen 5 2600, 2x8 GB of RAM, an asus prime b350 ma motherboard and a 3070 graphics card.
If I run it from konsole, before launching it says qrc:/qml/CPUForm.qml:45:7: QML Connections: Implicitly defined onFoo properties in Connections are deprecated. Use this syntax instead: function onFoo(<arguments>) { ... }help?
Edit: the sensors show up just fine in the system monitor.
So... Hey
I am not a complete beginner, i tried a few Linux distros on really old Hardware, always debian or arch based, i own a steam deck and since then like kde and use that instead of cinnamon which was my goto...
But i am for example too stupid for the terminal, i know how MS Dos works and always used mostly Microsoft Systems and im pretty fluent there, but that meant less time with Linux.
I decided to try around a bit, first with manjaro which i expected to like more but meh, than i broke the install...
So now i installed Ubuntu and are actually really happy with that, feels and works good.
However: i can't get Corectrl for my Radeon RX 7900xtx to properly work, the step by step Guide on github (or that other site, not actually github but yeah) doesn't work for me. Advanced Options wont work, the card will be really clock and powerlimited and i can't figure it out. Since i had exactly the same issue with manjaro on a different Kernel, i assume it's my issue.
Like, when i install the app it works kinda but advanced Options don't work, card is clock and powerlimited. I would like to undervolt etc and like use the same settings like i have on windows after tinkering with the card.
If i try to Set it up so it auto boots i am too stupid, if i try to enable advanced options via adding a string to the Boot parameters and then try update grub it can't find that informationy i always get an error Response back.
Please help. Thanks
an interesting topic, although it is not relevant for my onboard card ) Maybe try alternative methods of using profiles for the GPU? I'm currently downloading Radeon Profiler

I also want to see what he can do. It's a pity that I can't recommend anything worthwhile
