People who actually have cork floors, what do you think of them?

Nucore LVP cork back for living room. Is it any good?
AMORIM cork flooring?
I have cork in my kitchen, and I have large dogs, and kids. It's been 7 years and it looks like new. It's not the brand you mention, but it does have a poly top coat. Mine are like pergo tiles, snap together sort of stuff.
I love it and recommend it to everyone.
I could find the brand, if I can locate the box.
I know people with pergo and/or laminate that looks like crap after 6 years. My floor looks the same as the day it was installed.
More on reddit.comWe are replacing ALL of our flooring with LVP. NO CARPET, hard no, we live in a rural area with lots of animals and work dirty jobs, I never want to see carpet again, you can't change my mind.
However, it would still be nice to have flooring that is somewhat soft and can dampen noise, and I stumbled recently upon cork flooring. I am toying with the idea of installing it in the upstairs bedrooms, which are directly above the downstairs master suite. The point would be to dampen the sound of footsteps from upstairs, and hopefully also dampen the transfer of noises like talking on the phone or watching TV between both levels.
Have you found the sound dampening qualities to be noticeable, especially over LVP? Or is it not worth it? Also, would the flooring be instantly shredded to bits by dogs with zoomies, or is it fairly hardy?
Thanks so much to anyone who can help, I would really appreciate any input!
