I am an international student and me and my parents knew almost nothing about how to apply for financial (even applying to colleges was hard) so we talked with a counselor (not actually a counselor but she knew some things about applying) and she told us that to apply for financial aid you first had to be accepted by the university. Did I ruin my chances to get financial aid?
Seems like every year it sneaks up earlier

So basically, I submitted my CSS profile a couple of weeks ago thinking we had to do it every year, but I got an email a week ago that said most students do not have to complete it unless noted in their FinAid todo list. I checked after I submitted and didn’t see anything, but now my todo list is asking for IDOC information. Does anyone know if I should submit it or call the finaid office to see if it’s required? Thanks
I already missed the deadline by an hour and I really can’t submit it now because I’m unsure of some numbers. I already emailed the AO but I’m not sure. Has anyone ever submitted the CSS profile late and still got good fin aid? I’m rly stressed. The deadline is jan 2 and it’s 1:50am jan 3 my time. I think I will submit it jan 3 around 8pm or something. Will that be a problem?
