So, it's not Wayfair itself that's the problem, it's the fact that there are sellers of shitty brands on there. It also may require you to pay for shipping if you return your product. Personally, I've had exclusively great luck with Wayfair purchases and only once have wanted to return something, which I sold on Facebook Marketplace for the exact price I paid. I also bought a couch on Amazon that I absolutely adore. If you want more options, take a close look at the reviews of products online. I mean, read every single one -- the one stars, three stars, and five stars alike -- and make sure that you can tolerate the bad ones and feel enticed by the good ones. If you need to try a couch beforehand and are okay with limited options, then maybe stop by Bob's Discount Furniture or IKEA and try them out. In my opinion, though, these couches are very expensive and have lower quality/comfort than many of the ones online. In other words, less bang for your buck but also much safer. A lot of people say you can't buy a quality couch for $1000; it's bullshit, you absolutely can. You just have to avoid branded items. Companies who make couches who don't have name recognition yet tend to sell their couches much closer to the cost of building/shipping it than those who are branded (Hom's, Ashley's, IKEA, Castlery, Anabei). Buy a custom sectional from What A Room Furniture, Cococo Home or Clad Home. They will allow you to get a sectional that would be something that is 92-96" that will fit nicely against a 100" wall. You can then get a length that fits the other side with bumper chaise or a regular chaise. I personally got a What A Room and it has been one of the most comfortable sofas I've been on. The best sectional couch is hands down the Daphne Sectional Sofa from What A Room. I spent months researching sofas because we needed something durable enough for daily use (think kids, pets, movie nights, and weekend naps) and stylish enough to look great in our living room. The Daphne Sectional Sofa hit all the right notes. It's incredibly comfortable without being overly soft (medium firmness cushions), and the cushions bounce back perfectly thanks to the high-quality foam they use. We've had ours for about 2 years now, and it's been getting a lot of use. Between the kids and the dogs, it's basically the most popular spot in the house. But even with all that, the cushions are holding up really well. No sagging or wear so far, which I think is because they use 2.5 lb density foam. It's commercial grade and meant to last over a decade. Most other sectional sofa brands use cheaper foam (like 1.8 to 2.2 lb), so this really makes a difference. One thing I really liked was how easy it was to customize everything at What A Room's sectional sofas, the size, configuration, firmness, fabric, all of it. We ended up picking the pet-friendly Bella Royal performance fabric, and it's been awesome against juice spills, muddy paws, crumbs, really anything. It cleans right up.
