What are some of the top-rated fireplace tv stands?
Do fireplace TV stands come in different colors?
How do I figure out the BTU output I need?
I’m buying a house that has a corner fireplace and the issue being I do not think there is any other spot in the living room for a television. Photo for reference. How would one recommend setting up a tv around this situation or should I really crunch measurements to see if there’s another way?
Hi all! About to move into a new space and having a really hard time figuring out how to arrange and design the living room without making it feel closed off or non functional. Style is mid century modern.
We definitely use the TV often, it’s 65” and have a sound bar, game frequently etc. but also want to make use of the fireplace when entertaining or reading. The TV can pretty much only go on the left wall where the painting is above the couch in the pictures to accommodate wiring etc.
Any advice on living room furniture and/or arrangements? Really struggling with what pieces to look for or how to even think of arranging.
I am looking at a new apartment and really the only downside to it is the placement of the fireplace and windows in the living room in relation to where I'd put my TV (55" LED, but may upgrade in the future). The current tenant has their TV sitting on the mantle above the fireplace in the corner, which I hate for obvious reasons to everyone on this subreddit.
Layout as is Living area layoutMy question is, is there a solution to make this workable? Putting the tv in front of the windows to the right is a no go to the wife, and putting it in the area labelled Dining Room in the layout would throw everything in that open space off balance, so I'm stuck with either
a) Finding a mount/adjustable arm that lets the TV sit in front of the mantle/fireplace but get moved up if we end up turning the fireplace on (forgive the lack of artistic ability). I did a quick search for a product and am confident there is one, but would love recommendations.
Artistic rendering of tv shifted down on an armb) put the TV above the mantle but tilt it down so that at least the viewing angles aren't horrendous.
Any suggestions from the r/hometheater hivemind?
