I see plenty of these fireplace media consoles for sale online, but a lot of them seem pretty cheap.

Or they are using cheap/basic electric fireplaces.

I am looking for something with a quality electric fireplace. Flame quality and fire media is important to me.

Anyone have one of these?

Any recommendations on brands or places to purchase?

I am looking at a new apartment and really the only downside to it is the placement of the fireplace and windows in the living room in relation to where I'd put my TV (55" LED, but may upgrade in the future). The current tenant has their TV sitting on the mantle above the fireplace in the corner, which I hate for obvious reasons to everyone on this subreddit.

My question is, is there a solution to make this workable? Putting the tv in front of the windows to the right is a no go to the wife, and putting it in the area labelled Dining Room in the layout would throw everything in that open space off balance, so I'm stuck with either

a) Finding a mount/adjustable arm that lets the TV sit in front of the mantle/fireplace but get moved up if we end up turning the fireplace on (forgive the lack of artistic ability). I did a quick search for a product and am confident there is one, but would love recommendations.

b) put the TV above the mantle but tilt it down so that at least the viewing angles aren't horrendous.

Any suggestions from the r/hometheater hivemind?
