January 21, 2018 - Of all the keyboards I've owned I would have to say the K70 RGB was my favorite. I've owned everything from Madcat to a 300 dollar razer, but nothing has felt as good as a K70 and how sensitive the keys are.

I'm personally not too worried about the travel distance, I've briefly gotten to use this feature on a Wooting keyboard in the past (and even have a 3-key Wooting that can also take advantage of the feature) and found it to be an incredible bridge between mouse+keyboard and controller movement.

June 15, 2024 - Unfortunately when tke keys were set to analog, games that were picking up the analog input were reading the keyboard as controller and it became annoying to the point that I sold the keyboard. Right now I’m using cheapish 65% epomaker th66 and soon I think I will try the upcoming nuphy field 75 he as I’m still curious about gimmick gaming things. I'm torn between these two and need some opinions to break the tie. I've had a couple razer keyboards in the past and they're still around years later so I've built a trust with them but haven't had any experience with corsairs peripherals just corsair cases and ram. I'm not interested in making a custom one or getting a smaller keyboard. Which should I go for ?
Corsair pro's:
- Brighter rgb lighting
-Double shot pbt
-Macro keys
-polling rate of 4000hz not really noticeable on 144hz
-icue software which doesn't have 6 tabs open like razer
-$30 cheaper
Razer pro's:
-Analog switches
-double shot pbt
-Rgb wrist wrest
-adjustable actuation point
-would match my razer mouse and 1 less software to have installed
-Stiffer keys meaning less typos
-I've had good experiences with razer

I tried both and went with the K100. The wrist rest is infinitely better by a long shot. I also found the actuation force for he V2 keys to be way too much to the point of tiring my fingers and slowing my typing speed. I also ran into software and hardware related issues with the V2 that seemed inherent to the way it worked, including the controller emulation feature which caused issues with my actual controller. All in all, I've had zero issues with the k100 since day 1 and had issues with the Huntsman V2 out of the box, so it wasn't a good impression. Sucked because I wanted to like it.

Not entirely the answer to your question, but I just had to buy a keyboard after I decided my black widow needed a beer. (RIP) I had it for over 10 years and loved it. I went to Best Buy and looked at all the usual suspects (pcmags top 10) including the k100, the huntsman line, and the Logitech g975 or whatever it’s called. Honestly I settled for a black widow v3 pro, while pricey, after Messing with all the keyboards I just prefer green switches, and the familiarity of the black widow. For the huntsman I liked the purples but they weren’t the same. It’s also worth noting that the huntsman elite was on sale for 150$

All I did was type "Corsair Hall Effect keyboard" into google. The "K70 Pro TKL" is only listed on the Korean version of Corsair's website in Portuguese. If I swap the language, it takes me to the home page with no way to get back.

The switches are super ass if it is above 130usd totally not worth it because you can get something like the epomaker cidoo c75 bad software but really good value & quality full metal case gateron ks 20u 8khz polling but not scanrate tho also melgeek made 84 pro might be a lot better than it because of the TTC magneto switches true 8khz & still more sturdy built they have web based software too
