It is common for your cooler backplate to feel loose after you install in into your motherboard for the first time. Background, new build 7800x3d with the h100i rgb.

I have had huge issues with icue, when updating the firmware it bricked, sent back the unit. Today (after running just ASUS Qfan) i tried updating the firmware through iCUE again, same thing, bricked. (luckily I googled and found the way to manually update the firmware).

QUESTION, I notice the PC a little louder than I was expecting under some load. Taking off the side panel I see the radiator fans are not spinning hugely fast under load.

If I run Cinebench, the case fans go to full, but the radiator (240mm) fans stay at the same RPM. Should they be increasing? The maximum temperature shortly after starting goes to 86C (idle 40cish).

All I have is Asus bios (QFAN) running the fans, CPU_fan header and case fans through CHA_FAN1 on the Mobo.

What software do you recommend have running the h100i? Asus Fan xpert software led to a lot of noise and higher temps, so I am a little stuck as to if I have everything the correct way. I've followed the corsair installation to the letter.

N.b The CPU fan is showing nicely in bios but that is the only fan showing (Case fans can be controlled and manually set to 100% despite no icon on the main page).

Hello,

I just bought this product a couple of months ago now and is my first liquid cooler build so now i think it's broken? So when i got it i installed the Icue software and then an update for it came out and notice "Murals (Beta)" on it but then it kept connecting and disconnecting blinking on and off consistently and making the USB connected & disconnected sound.

So i checked what was the problem specifically and it says "Driver Error" on the device in device manager while playing a game. I noticed extreme fps drops when i play any game. But after awhile it doesn't do that. What the hells wrong with the software?

Hello, So I am still using a V1 H100i (if it aint broke why fix it eh?) and recently reinstalled windows. However I have now come to the discovery that no versions (that I can find) on corsairs website recognise my H100i (they are either pre h100i or after, where they decided to say a big FU and stop supporting it)

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have emailed Corsair but have not recieved a response yet.

Surely they wouldn't make a product unusuable though software obsolescence, at least let me download a compatible version?

I have a similar problem with their vengnce RGB pro ram which is much more recent but thats a whole other kettle of fish (but it does make me wonder if they purposefully "force" users to upgrade though their shoddy software blocks.

Any help would be appreciated, I just want to be able to control the fans and ideally change the LED colours again.
