Any opinions on this laptop
I think the Corsair Voyager gets a lot of hate, some deservedly so and others not so much. Let me start off by saying that I don't use this as a streaming laptop (shocking I know) and for my uses its mostly School Work, Gaming and VSC + VB. The setup of this laptop does take a minute, I instead of opting for the corsair drivers went straight to amds website and downloaded the latest adrenalin drivers and the applied the .inf file to get 240hz removing me from the limitation of dated corsair software and allowing me to properly utilise the hardware of the laptop. Because of the negative feedback and Corsairs annoyingly little desire to support this laptop after requiring corsair drivers if you want to do things officially.
I paid 715 for mine in basically mint condition, it's the Ryzen 7 RX 6800M version, and so far the laptop has been great in what I've thrown at it and the cooling system is capable and getting the temps down, it has one of the best keyboard and build I've ever seen on a laptop so far and the gaming performance puts it right up there with my main PC rig. I love that when you don't need to game you can just use a 100w type c charger and use it like a notebook and the inbuilt fingerprint reader is awesome, the track pad is large and spacious with a nice premium feel and everything about this laptop screams luxury and performance.
Overall, if you can get one cheap like I did, get one and apply the inf file fix, it's a hidden gem because of the situation surrounding it and the latest bios update fixes the power issues people were having with it. It's a solid laptop and is only coming down in price.
