Hey everyone,
I’ve been using my Corsair Void Pro headset for about 5-6 years now, and it’s honestly been amazing. The headset itself still looks and works like new, but recently the USB dongle broke. Now I can’t use it at all since it won’t connect without the dongle.
I tried looking for a replacement dongle on Corsair’s website and other stores, but it seems like it’s no longer available, probably because the model is a bit outdated at this point.
I really don’t want to switch brands since no other headset I’ve owned has lasted me this long, and I can’t afford to buy a whole new one right now. Does anyone know if Corsair offers replacement dongles for older headsets, or if there’s any way to get a compatible one elsewhere?
I also tried creating a ticket (2008414032), but don't know if they'll reply soon, as it's Saturday
Broke my USB piece. Anyone happen to know if Corsair replaces these for a fee? I can’t spend money on a whole new headset and was hoping y’all have some advice
This headset has been with me for maybe 10 years. Absolute perfect headset with no issues ever. Would love to stick to this brand.
Appreciate any and all.
System Specs:
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
GPU: ASUS Strix GTX 970 4G
PSU: Silverstone Strider 850W
Case: Silverstone FT02
Dongle: Corsair Link USB Dongle 75-001444
Problem:
I've recently been given a hand-me-down system that was left partially disassembled. There's a Corsair Link USB Dongle (Model: 75-001444) attached to the MB on USB1112 with a loose 4-pin connector on the other end.
A) What does this device do?
B) Where does this 4-pin connect to?
Any help is appreciated and if you need more info, let me know. Thanks
Recently my dongle for my Void Elite Wireless headset broke, and now I'm looking for a replacement. I tried to request a spare part from the corsair support team, but they said they don't manufacture them anymore so I'm looking to buy one from the corsair store directly.
My main issue now is that there are two options: One in yellow like my original, and one in white. The Yellow one is more expensive which I believe to be because it looks like it also comes with a mini USB dongle, but I don't know what that is used for.
If someone could clarify what the extra USB in the image is, or can point me to a different solution to getting a new dongle, then that would be great!
The corsair webstie stopped selling the replacemnt USB dongle for the mouse I use. I lost my dongle whilst moving and I can't find a solution other than buying a new mouse outright. Would it be possible for me to buy a cheaper corsair slipstream mouse and re-pair the dongle using the software to the dark core instead of the cheaper wireless harpoon?
