Apologies if this has been asked, but when I searched (here and across the broader web including Corsair forums) the most recent post around this topic was at least 6 months old. I am hoping maybe things have changed since then and Corsair or someone else has come up with a fix.
Basically I wanted to know if anyone has seen one of the LL fans with the light loop on the exhaust side of the fan. I was planning to do a new RGB build and fully kit out the PC with corsair (fans, RAM, AIO cooler), but I want all of the fan LED's visible inside the case, and since the majority of fans will be intake vs. exhaust, it would be a waste of money to get Light Loop fans only to have the RGB ring facing away from the viewer. I messaged Corsair about it but haven't heard back.

I've just found out that the back of the ll120s that I plan on using as intake on the front of my case would be facing the inside of the case. The case has a solid metal front so I can't see the fans from the front.
I was thinking, is it possible for me to dismantle it, and simply just flip the fan blades to face the opposite side so that the front of the fans would be facing the inside of the case while still being intake fans?
I haven't actually bought any parts for my build yet so I haven't actually seen the ll120 in person yet.
I notice the LED on the fans only face one direction. I have the 011 Dynamic case which has fan on the bottom and on the side. The problem I'm having is if I mount the fans as intake on the bottom the LED are facing down instead of up. Are there another set of corsair fans that have the re-versus airflow? Is it possible to disassemble the fan and just flip the blades? How are others dealing with this?
