Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 owners, share your pros and cons
This is a very safe product compared to LG and Asus due to the following reasons. Pros: Zero Burn In policy for 3 yeara Zero dead pixels policy Full burn in coverage under warranty Corsair is a pretty good company, I wouldn't expect them to dodge warranties Cons: overly matte finnish (all 3 versions suffer from this) Maximum sustained brightness is around 150 nits HDR is kinda lacking due to low brightness, but acceptable still Basically this monitor is guaranteed to have no burn in or dead pixels for 3 years under warranty. I'd definitely pick it over the other 2. More on reddit.com

I am looking to purchase my first OLED Ultrawide monitor as soon as the 240Hz models release and the Xeneon 34WQHD240-C caught my eye! It has a great set of specs that I’m looking for. Has anyone used monitors from Corsair? What was your experience?

Great for gaming and entertainment. HDR content looks great. Sub-pixel fringing with text and low full screen brightness make it not ideal for productivity work. The text fringing doesn't bother me much, and I don't notice it 99% of the time (but it does drive me nuts the times I do notice it). 150nits Fullscreen brightness could be a dealbreaker for productivity work, depending upon what you are doing. With brightness stabilizer off it is plenty bright, but having brightness vary can be quite distracting. If you take a small pure white window and slowly stretch it to fullscreen you can see it get much, much, much dimmer. Brightness stabilizer on makes it a bit too dim for all but a very dark room. This monitor is extremely good at the things it does well. Picture quality is great, HDR looks good, response time is amazing. For gaming and media consumption it is among the best monitors you can buy. However, the text fringing and fullscreen brightness don't make the best coupling with productivity and there is a real trade off. I'm definitely on the OLED bandwagon, I've been waiting since 2009 for OLED monitors to be a reality. There are real world trade-offs beyond possible burn-in that need to be considered. I'm not a brightness snob either. I find 600nits on a monitor to be actually painful to look a white screen.

r/Corsair on Reddit: I don't recommend buying this Oled monitor. CORSAIR XENEON 27QHD240 de 27"
January 17, 2025 -

Hello everyone. I am making this post to help other not to make the same mistakes like me. I buy this Oled monitor CORSAIR XENEON 27QHD240 de 27", 3 days ago and unfortunately I have to return it. I am returning this monitor because it Flickers a lot, especially when you are browsing and gaming, and its getting more and more annoying. Even when you are watching a movie this is happening. This monitor on the Corsair website costs 1149,99€ but I got it on offer for 699,99. For the past 2 days I tried everything to fix the flickering issue, software update, firmware update, different cables, different settings and more. But sadly it's not working properly. Even when I turn off the FreeSync it still does it a little, but then why do I need such a expensive monitor if I can't use it's features. I found out that I am not the only one with this issue and that this monitor had this problems from the beginning when it was released to the public.

So this model I can't recommend it. Better get something else. Hope this was helpful to anyone that is looking for information about this monitor
