October 28, 2022 - I just saw your comment and I know the solution to this problem. You should download firmware 3.11 for harpoon from Corsair page and you must force the mouse to install version 3.11 from the ICUE program.
Quick impressions of the Harpoon RGB Wireless Mouse
I am pretty happy with the Harpoon mouse. I got it to replace a cheap bluetooth mouse that had an erratic connection with this PC (I actually tried replacing the battery in the old mouse and it didn't help much). The color configuration is great. I ended up changing my preferred DPI mode to match the color scheme I wanted (I have red lighting on my PC and the keyboard, which is shown). It was fairly easy to configure the two side buttons. The bluetooth/2.4G is a little weird - the software says that you can use it to configure the mouse in Bluetooth mode, when it has already been set up in one of the other modes, but as soon as I put it in Bluetooth, it disappears from the software and does not seem to carry over the configuration I've set up. I ended up using it in 2.4 mode, which also has the advantage that, since I'm using a cable for my keyboard, I can put the sensor on the keyboard (which has a hub) and it's just inches from the mouse for a really solid connection. I ended up taking the highest DPI mode and stepping it back - it was a little too fast for me, but around 3000-3200 was great for me. It's a reasonably comfortable mouse. Some people have complained about the custom USB cable. The positive side of it is that it latches very firmly into the mouse and fills the gap (I personally do not really like the gap above the wheel aesthetic). But the downside is that if you're just using it for charging. I hadn't really bought anything from Corsair before, but this PC has Corsair fans and RAM, and then I am building one for my husband, which will use one of their excellent SFX PSUs (mine has a Thermaltake). Overall I'm pretty happy. Nice mouse. I've actually never had an expensive gaming mouse - I have had one prior expensive non-gaming mouse. But I like this one. More on reddit.com
