October 2, 2025 - So Revival goes for cheaper than Refurbished, but should still function good as new and is equally backed by Corsair themselves. Either way, $100 for a $330 headset is crazy and exactly what I wanted to find. I think I've accidentally become an audiophile, and the Virtuoso Max is literally the only gaming headset apart from Audeze Maxwell that truly supports fully wireless Hi-Res audio (40000 frequency response) AND supports Xbox (though at lower-res audio).

Hi everyone, I'm considering getting the Corsair Virtuoso MAX Wireless headset. I’ve seen some past reviews mentioning mic quality issues or software bugs and have those been fixed in recent updates?
Is it still worth buying now in 2025, or are there better alternatives in the same price range? Would love to hear from current users about your experience (especially with mic, comfort, battery life, and iCUE).

I was given one past christmas... its the only headset ive owned that doesnt make my ears sore after hours of use.. mic quality has been as good as ive ever had as well... Only issue I had, was a physical one it seemed and they replaced it.. battery life.. idk.. I go a whole day without issue and plug it in when I get off.. never had it die, it lasts the day then its charged full for the next day so... I give it a 5/5 stars.. I love it. OH shoot, Just realized, I have the Corsair virtuoso RGB wireless xt acvtually.. but I think its mostly the same headset.. sorry my mistake.

I think this is the best button placement I’ve seen on a headset for a mute function, and while flip-to-mute still reigns above all, being able to instantly know the location for the mute without reaching all over your ear cups is a terrific choice by Corsair. While that’s great, I’ve found the mic itself to be above average, peaking a bit too easily during my communication. Battery life is outstanding on the Virtuoso Max.
