I have owned the "Corsair VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless SE Espresso" headset for a little under two years and I really like the audio quality and mic.
Battery life has always been pretty terrible for me, like it wont charge fully always. Also after two years the faux leather has totally disentegrated because of an unusually hot and sweaty summer, but apart from that its the best headset I have tried.
I am wondering if the XT holds up better over the years? Are they made of the same material as the SE Expresso version?
Can long time owners pitch in with their experience?

Are there cheaper options for gaming?
If you’re happy to go cheaper, wireless gaming headsets like the Razer Barracuda X or SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless work everywhere either wirelessly or over 3.5mm. Their USB-C dongles both guarantee wireless audio with the Nintendo Switch (docked or undocked), in addition to PlayStations and PC. Both of them sound great, and beat the Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT’s battery life in spades—they’re also only $99 USD.
Hey Folks, I recently acquired a set of virtuoso XTs, and have a couple questions for the community here. These questions are directed to individuals who have actually purchased and used these headsets for an extended period of time.
I am currently trying to decide between the virtuosos and razor Kraken V3 pros. They both have pros and cons. Battery life is not really my concern as the virtuosos have plenty of battery life for my needs. I have found the Kraken to have higher fidelity sound and comfort but they are a bit buggy.
Long term wise, how have your XTs held up?
Thank you for the discussion.
Hey there! I have a pair of RIG800 headphones that keep dropping connection. My friend has Virtuoso XTs and loves them so I figured I would make the jump. The Max just got released and I love the silver colour but with an Amazon sale I can get the Black XTs for literally less than half the price (449.99 for Max and $198.99 for XTs) are the new ones worth paying retail?
Is the newer one that much better?
