Does Costco Canada typically have in-warehouse black friday deals? If yes, what have you seen in the past?
just saw that costco black friday deals are live and wanted to check in. what’s everyone grabbed so far? i’m still browsing but some of the tech and home stuff looks pretty decent. curious which deals are actually worth it and which ones are just a “sale” tag. any tips for spotting the real steals would be awesome! what’s everyone keeping an eye on?

I mean I dunno man, got the electronics I need, don't need new furniture this year, etc. just looking for ideas/inspiration from what other fellow parking lot survivors are getting.
Clothing deals? Garden furniture? (Apartment living sucks!!) House Furniture? Grills and stuff? Electronics?
Any grocery deals on black Friday? 😭
Hope this question is allowed. I'm new to costco. Looking at buying a new phone but thought maybe I should wait for black Friday incase there might be a sale.
The actual Wireless kiosk inside Costco will have Black Friday deals. I upgraded last year and got a $300 Costco Shop Card with my phone. You can check their website before you go to see what the offers are.
I went the day before Black Friday last year and was able to pick up my Samsung S22 on a 2-year contract with Fido. They offered me a $300 shop card, $10 off for 15 months if I purchased JBL headphones (can't recall exactly how much it was, I think around $80?). They gave me another pair of headphones and a car charger free of charge.
Hardly any big discounts in Red Deer, AB store. The sound bars which I was waiting for were already on "sale". Looked up previous prices and it was unchanged. A couple kids toys were noticeably cheaper by 15% but that was it really. Pretty underwhelming.
I’m newer to Costco. Do they offer any worthwhile deals for Black Friday? I know they have a catalog. Are those deals actually good? Do they offer anything else in-store or online on a good deal? Thanks y’all!

Product Categories and Notable Deals:
Costco's Black Friday sale includes discounts across a wide range of categories, from electronics and appliances to jewelry and household items. Here's a summary of key categories and deals for 2024:
Electronics and Appliances
Televisions: You'll once again see pretty good deals on number of TV brands including LG, Samsung, and Vizio. We like getting our TV's at Costco due to their easy return policy... if, by chance, something goes wrong between the time you get it out of the store to the time it's hanging on your wall, you don't have to worry about getting your money back. One of our favorite TV’s this year includes the huge LG 86-inch QNED90 Series 4K UHD MiniLED LCD TV on sale for $1999.99 (it includes a 5-year protection plan!)
Laptops and Tablets: Deals have returned again variety of laptops, including models from brands like HP, Dell, and Apple. The Dell Inspiron 16” Touchscreen Laptop sale priced at $599.99 after $300 off is a great buy.
Home Appliances: You'll find significant savings on major appliances, especially on Samsung refrigerators, dishwashers, and washer/dryer sets. This year the Samsung 25 cu. ft. Mega Capacity Counter Depth 4-Door Fridge is featured at $1,000 off.
Dyson Vacuums: One of our favorite vacuums, The Dyson V15 Detect Total Clean Extra Cordless Stick Vacuum, is on sale for $499.99, down from $699.99 (that's the same discount as last year, so no inflation!).
Household Items and Food
Coffee Pods: Costco always offers deals on bulk items like Keurig K-Cup pods. This year they feature the Keurig K-Cup Pods Roaster’s Reserve Collection (60-count), marked down to $23.99 (after a $6 discount).
Small Kitchen Appliances: Be on the lookout for savings on blenders, mixers, and air fryers from brands like Ninja, Vitamix, and KitchenAid.
Tires: Costco will be offerting $40 to $60 off on qualifying sets of Michelin tires during their Black Friday sale this year, which includes installation service as part of the deal.
Jewelry
Diamond Earrings and Jewelry: Costco’s Black Friday sales often include high-end jewelry at steep discounts. If you have a high budget then be sure to check out the pair of Round Brilliant 1.50 ctw Diamond and White Gold Stud Earrings available for $1,499.99 after a $400 off.
Home Audio and Entertainment
Sonos Speakers and Soundbars: The Sonos Beam (Gen 2) Soundbar is available for $369.99 after a $130 discount (this is $30 cheaper than last year's Black Friday deal!) and the Sonos Arc Soundbar is reduced to $719.99 after a $180 savings.
Clothing and Apparel
Be on the lookout for discounts on seasonal clothing, outerwear, and footwear from brands like Calvin Klein, Adidas, and Puma. These are usually available both online and in stores.
Quantity Limits and Availability:
Many of Costco’s Black Friday deals have quantity limits, typically ranging from 2 to 5 items per member. This is especially common for high-demand products like electronics and appliances.
Some items are available both online and in-store, while others may be exclusive to one platform. Be sure to check availability for specific items before shopping.
I am looking for a new phone + plan (the cheapest plan available). I cannot figure out if we usually get better deals on Boxing Day or Black Friday.
If it matters, I'm looking for a flip phone (Samsung Flip or Moto Razr)
The main tv in my house just died, and honestly with Black Friday right around the corner, timing couldn't be better.
My question is, do I wait until actual Black Friday week to pick up a new tv? Do you think the deals with get better?
Or should I just get one on the current early Black Friday deals?
Thanks in advance
