While shopping at Costco a few weeks back, I saw they had a few sizes of Casper mattress on sale. It was not a road show as there was not at an end cap. The part that got me was the price: $599 for a queen which is $400 cheaper than the website. Not sure if it was a pricing mistake or if it is constructed differently than one from the website. Has anyone else noticed this?

Casper has a budget mattress that costs about half, but it's not reviewed as being as comfortable in reviews by Consumer Reports and places that do mattress reviews. I think some place it above box springs because some people say they can feel the bedframe below. It supposedly works better for people in the 90-170 lb range.

I bought a Novaform foam mattress from Costco 4 years ago and absolutely love it. It’s so perfect, I can’t hardly explain. It’s just the right amount of firmness that you need, but just soft enough, and it seems to soften up just a little more with age, barely though. Damn I love my mattress. I would never buy a different kind honestly. I think I paid $500 for my King size.

This is a good deal right?
I’m not 100% sure it’s the same as the Amazon listed one but I did need to buy a new mattress for my apartment and I was just gonna get one at ikea, but this seems too good to be true.

Its a good deal and my main bed. I think I paid like $450 for mine last summer(July 4th sale). It was a little hard so I put a 3 inch mattress topper on it.

Just note, if you’re a side sleeper with any shoulder issues, this is not a good bed.. had this bed for 3 months and it made shoulder pain worse.

Has anyone grabbed this mattress off the current sale? I have a old Casper I really like but am looking to upgrade to a Queen and $120 off is great
I like my current Casper because it’s firm and not bouncy, so motion transfer is minimal
Also curious if people have experience hauling it home from warehouse. Does it fit in your car? Thanks!

The main construction difference is that the Casper Select features an additional memory foam layer below the top layer. Besides this, their constructions are nearly identical. The mattresses are also identical in terms of firmness and feel. The other major difference has to do with price. For a queen size, the Select costs a few hundred dollars less than the Original. That being said, you have to be a Costco member to get these savings.

If you can afford the hybrid get the hybrid, they're more comfortable. The all foam doesn't breath very well so if you're a hot sleeper it might be too hot. The firm is very firm and doesn't soften much.
