For College and some gaming.
The more expensive one has Wi-Fi 7 and OLED vs WUXGA, better battery life and it is lighter weight.
Is the $200 price difference really worth it?

I’d go with the cheaper one if I were you. The more important consideration is what you mean by gaming? Neither if these have a discrete GPU, so they won’t be very good for gaming.

Don't buy an Ideapad - they are flimsy as hell. Look for an off-lease Thinkpad from a reputable reseller. You'll get better specs, reliablility and upgradeability for less than either of your posted options.

Do they up the warranty to two years with Lenovo or their own?
Top answer 1 of 2

Yup, have mine for 6 months. Laptop battery a bit short on run time but may be windows bogging it down. I upgraded to 11 Pro and 2021 Office and all seem to work well. i7, 16 G ram, 1Tb SSD. $649.

You get warranty with Lenovo, i would highly reccomend getting the 3 year assurance plus warranty though.
