Because of the great return policy, I always said to myself “if Costco sells the Dyson airwrap, I’ll buy it!” Well that day has come, it’s available for $579. I was wondering if anyone with thick hair has tried it? Do the curls hold well? Also, anyone know if it will go on sale? It’s such a big purchase, I’m having a hard time justifying it!
Hi! I've been coveting a dyson airwrap for the past few years and am finally making the order. I have pin straight and thin asian hair.
I'm looking at 2 different items:
Dyson Airwrap Multi-Styler Complete Long for $479 from Costco
Dyson Airwrap multi-styler and drayer straight + wavy $400 from Dyson direct. I also have 8% cashback making it ~$368.00
So far the differences I see are:
Price (Dyson wins, $100 cheaper)
Color (Don't really care about color)
Different free gifts (essentially travel case & diffuser vs hairbrush and hairclips, don't really mind either)
Costco has such a good return policy if things break, I've heard iffy things about Dyson's
Dyson's sales rep really pushed their own site obvi because it is "newer technology and uses coanda airflow"
I'd love to know if any of you know what the differences are and which one you'd decide to get!

I’m sure you all see a million posts about choosing the best option on where to purchase, Shark vs Dyson, but had some questions and want opinions before I make a decision.
I recently purchased the Shark Flexstyle at Costco on sale at $229.99. I like it, but it is very loud and I have found the parts get very wobbly and loose, just after first use. They’re secure and click into place but I’m not so sure this is a normal thing. I also find it tears at my damp hair a bit and maybe that is contributing to tension on the brushes and causing it to become wobbly. I returned it and bought a new one. Same thing happened. I like the idea of styling my hair with a product like this, but now I’m wondering if I should spend the extra money and get the Airwrap instead.
I heard they’re pretty comparable, just that the Shark is more affordable. I see the Dyson Airwrap Complete Long is on sale now at Costco for $479.99. It’s not the color I necessarily wanted (I wanted the Prussian blue color but it really isn’t that big of a deal that would prevent me from purchasing) and it’s not the newest technology, but to those of you who have used both products, which do you recommend? Costco has a great return policy so I’m thinking maybe I should purchase it while it’s on sale, try it, and return whichever one I don’t like.
I’m not crazy about spending an extra $250+ but I will if it’s worth it. I want this to be an investment. I plan on using it a few times a week. What are everyone’s opinions? I don’t anticipate the air wrap going down in price anymore than it already is. Dyson I know is having a BF sale on their website but buying at Costco is still cheaper and comes with the travel bag and diffuser, so that’s my best option.
I’ve been debating the Dyson airwrap, supersonic dryer and airstraight straightener products for a while now. I have really long hair (almost waste length). Most in this group are aware that Costco has an airwrap deal and a supersonic dryer deal. After watching videos and reading comments/reviews I was leaning towards the airwrap and airstraight straightener (most likely from the Dyson site, but hesitant from recent posts of issues with orders). Now I’m considering Costco instead because, let’s be real… the return policy makes life easy and I can get the product immediately. Considering my extra long hair, will the airwrap Costco deal be worth it? I realize I can buy the other attachments online if necessary though I’m not sure what I may need or would benefit from having. It’s been years since I’ve dedicated time and engery to style my hair. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to change this. Is there anyone on here with long hair that can comment on the airwrap and or the other Dyson hair products? Thanks in advance!
Has anyone noticed the Air Wrap disappear from Costco? Mine broke; I just returned and went to the site to get a new one, since my local warehouse wasn't in stock, and the product page has just ... completely disappeared. Panicking because I only have $400 to spend on it and it seems like nowhere else has them that cheap!
Got the airwrap from Costco at 479 (excluding tax). This one has the diffuser and travel kit add on but no cleaning accessory. Is there something I’m missing as most folks have said Costco usually has limited accessories. Am I missing something?
I have PC optimum points I’ve been saving and I always planned to buy a Dyson. An airwrap is something I generally wouldn’t pay full price for otherwise so I thought saving points for it made sense
But for the people that have one, is it worth it? I have thin hair because a lot of mine fell out due to stress and I’m trying to re grow it now and just enter my hair care era so is this a good investment for that? I see myself using the brush and dryer attachments a lot. Is it worth it? I wear hijab so I don’t see myself worrying too much about styling my hair or at least not often, I’d just like to perfect a simple blowout.
What else should I consider buying with my points instead?
Costco has a sale for air wrap. I cannot find the hair dryer attachment (the elongated cylinder one). Is this the best version of air wrap??
Thoughts? Should I come back in 2 days and see if there’s a markdown or snag it now?
Could be getting replaced with 2024 version packages if they do that
Seems high for that pack up. I just got mine black Friday from qvc, $470 I think for the full set plus an extra skinny curler, case and travel bag. Cyber Monday it was a similar deal straight from Dyson.
My hair is wavy and thick and these are the best attachments for me, that’s why im considering this one in the first place instead of the ID. It has a mix of tools that cater to straight and curly (nice for wavy)… money is obviously an issue, thats why im considering walmart, but scared about costumer service/returns, and sad it doesnt come with travel bag. Please share your experience here to help me choose! Thank you!!!!
Hi guys! I bought my dyson around 8 months ago from costco and it stopped working! I already cleaned the filter but still it did not help. We don't have a Dyson service center in Edmonton so I don't know what to do. Can I just return it to costco? Update: Thank you all guys! I returned it to costco and got another one! The previous dyson I got was in discount so I had to pay 150$ more for a new one but still I'm happy that I could return it
Just wondering if any one here has bought the new version of the Air Wrap? If so are the new features helpful/worth it? Currently I’m trying to decide between buying a refurbished one from the official Dyson website, or just buying the i.d.
Hey Everyone - I am looking for a nice Christmas/anniversary gift for my wife...she chronically (and I mean CHRONICALLY) burns herself on shit; cookware, hot glue, soup, coffee, hair styling tools. But the worst by far is her curling iron, she's probably burned her wrist with a silver dollar sized burn at least a dozen times and I feel terrible but obviously nothing I thought I could really change.
I know she loves curling her hair and that blowout type look but she doesn't do it often because she burns herself and finds it to be kinda a pain. I've been looking at this Airwrap and feel like its super cool, as a techy person, and certainly dont feel bad about paying for quality that will last longer.
I guess what I'm wondering to those who own this is, is it worth it? The Shark Flexstyle looks to be a pretty adequate option as well, and we have a shark vacuum that we love and I have no concerns about the quality of their products...but I also know Dyson is the gold standard. If anything I'd probably get the Costco edition as its a few hundred cheaper and comes with, what I believe, would be the bits she'd use most. As much as I love a case and organization I know my wife and know she will put it back in that thing once and then never again.

For $399.99 is it really worth it?
-
Would the shark do a noticeably worse job/are there horror stories of QC issues or something I haven't stumbled across?
-
Is the switching directions thing for the curling attachments that big of a deal?
-
Can this be a true substitute for a hairdryer? (Dyson and/or Shark)
-
Does this usually go on sale around Black Friday?

Anyone have an elusive 20% off code that i've seen posts about they care to DM me?
Her hair type (yes I've gone fully down this rabbit hole) seems to be 2A/B from what I'd guess if that means anything. Thanks in advance for the help :)
Finally at Costco !!! I have been avoiding buying Dyson Airwrap and decided will buy it , only if its available at Costco. Hopefully they will get the Multi-styler soon . Anyone seen it in store??
