I bought the one by Yardestry . It took me a weekend to put together and one part was missing, that the customer service quickly corrected by shipping me the right part. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS and it’ll go fine, but it takes a while to assemble. The only real difficulty was when it came time to put the 4 sections of roof on. It takes at least 3 adults, 4 or 5 would be better. After everything was said and done, it’s proper sturdy and very well engineered. I’ve been very happy with it. April 9, 2025Anyone ever bought a Sojag gazebo from Costco? Need help!
I’ve seen many similar gazebos built, usually only up to about 12’ x 12’ at Costco as displays. It usually takes two maintenance employees (mechanically inclined) a single 8 hour shift. With the size of this gazebo you might need two weekends. Some tips would be open up all the boxes and keep them separated and organized. Make sure your drills/drivers are charged and have extra batteries on standby if possible. There will be some steps where you will probably need two step ladders to complete. Most people probably don’t have multiple ladders so if that’s the case, borrow one from a friend or neighbor in advance. More on reddit.com

What are y'alls thoughts and experiences with those prefab gazebos like the ones from Costco? Some of the reviews suggest that there's a good bit of fine tuning to make it all fit just right. To me that just sounds like it would just as fun to build one myself without the kit. My question is whether that's reasonable, or a fool's errand. What say you, experts?

I'm in the market for either a pergola or gazebo. Costco has both of them on sale. I like the aluminum louvre one and my wife likes the wood one. Pros and cons of either from others here who have purchased them? Hoping to make the purchase this weekend or so.
I like the idea of being able to open and close the louver but my wife said the whole point was to have shade. Makes sense to me...lol. im worrried about possible rot of the posts. Im assuming its all treated wood and i shouldnt be worrying about that? For the price, if i get 10yrs out of it, im cool. we will be putting these on pavers. Working on that as well. Thanks.

They’re both nice, but they’re two drastically different styles. Which one goes more with your house? The wood one is very traditional, while the louvered one is a modern design and I picture it in more of an urban environment.

I live in the PNW so I'm inclined to the one with the slanted roof, that said I like it the best anyway.
