Hello everybody!
I wanted to see if anybody has had any experience with making use of Costco's loss and damage warranty. My mom lost both her hearing aids. This has happened a few of times before, but we would eventually find them. It's been more than a week now and it's been hard for her.
Does Costco make it difficult to make use of the warranty or is it a fairly easy process. She's had the hearing aids (Jabra) since last August.

I had mine replaced and it was easy as heck. I had gone in to buy new ones because I lost my HAs. it was about 2.5 years since I had bought my Kirklands. The lady said "Hmm...let me check...you might have that three year warranty." Turns out I did have a three year warranty. She put in a replacement order and I got them a week later. This was near the end of last year.

I requested a lost HA replacement. It took a while but the costco person handed me the hearing aid in my bare hand, no baggie or anything. I put it in my raincoat pocket (it was pouring rain) and left and ran an errand and got a coffee and never found the hearing aid. I searched frantically and if it landed in a puddle it was ruined anyway. You only got one replacement so that was it. I've learned my lesson, now have Jabras I ordered on line. I had a single HA refuse to charge and they replaced it promptly with a refurbished pair, so I am happy.

I don't have these aids or use Costco (not sure if they even do HAs in the UK), but is it possible it's just the charger that's the problem? Could they loan you a charger for a day to test out a fresh one, or could you use one in store to see if you have the same problem with a new charger. If not, you could keep the working one while they send off the broken one? More on reddit.com
