An iPhone 15 Pro Max with 256gb is $1199 from Apple. The same phone at Costco is $1369. Apple Care + is $199 from Apple. So buying from Costco saves you $29 if you want Apple care. Apple care is not free, you’re paying for it and getting a small discount.

FWIW, I haven't seen an unlocked Android phone at Costco for at least five years. The last two times I've been in the market for a phone, I asked the vendor sales reps there if they sell unlocked devices. I got a hard "No" followed by a hard sell for their plan. I do see unlocked Apple on the website.

I’m going to buy an unlocked iPhone 15 Pro (no plan just the phone) and just debating whether there’s any benefits/drawbacks for buying it directly from Apple.ca versus buying at Costco.
I’ve always ordered Apple products from Apple directly but it’s a 3-4 week delivery for the iPhone 15 Pro 512GB versus I can get it this week from Costco, the only difference being the colour. (costco doesn’t have the 512GB in the colour i was going to pick but i use a case so it’s whatevs). Also, I don’t need the phone this week but if there’s no cons to buying it from Costco #InstantGratificationWins.
I couldn’t find any difference but wanted to ask and see if I have overlooked anything.
