Costco Canada always has LVP and Laminate flooring sold in store. Sometimes on sale.

Is it any good? I'm sure someone here must have purchased and installed some Costco flooring.

I have to replace existing laminate flooring in a corner rectangle section of my basement due to a small flood. Instead of re-flooring the entire basement, I'm planning to just put new laminate flooring in the damaged section.

Potentially, I could use LVP. However, it will not match the existing laminate. And the damaged section is part of an open living room in the basement.

I will not get the same color obviously, but since it's a corner section, I can just add a divider or whatever.

At least with Costco the laminate is in stock the day I want to buy it, there's no restocking fee, and I can return any unused boxes which is unlikely. Plus warranty.

However, I don't know about the quality. Pictures attached.

Hey yall I've been searching for floors for the past few months not sure exactly what I wanted/ wanting to spend either. Yesterday I found these ones and I really like the pattern, and most importantly the price! as a house with 3 cats and a senior dog that can barely control her blatter. I'm really leaning to them as my front runner but before I pull the trigger on 1000 sqft I have some quick questions.

1. Are they water resistant like they say?

2. Could a newbie install them? ( I do heavy construction for the past 6 years so I'm definitely comfortable with tools )

3. Will they age well or am I wasting my money by trying to save a few bucks
