Husband and I are wanting a new couch. This is our first ever brand new furniture purchase, and this sectional is in our process range. For those who own this couch, how has it held up? Also, what are the back cushion measurements? We wondered if they’re too short! Thank you.

Took a few pictures of the full sectional, removable cushions, removable cushion covers, and the ottoman. Sat on it for a while, it’s comfy. Check out the pics here Langdon Sectional .
Possible warning about this couch: got it delivered about a week ago. Love(d) the couch and everything about it. Really been enjoying it and it looks fantastic and fits the room very well.
However, a couple days ago, I had my right arm on the chaise arm rest and lifted my body up to reposition myself further back in the seat and get comfortable. I'm by no means a large person (~185lbs) but heard a small "crunch" sound. Performing the same action caused this (still quite small) "crunch" sound to occur along the edge of the arm rest, but it did not seem to re-occur in the same location. I thought maybe it was something "breaking in" in a good way. Last night I did the same thing (to just position myself) and felt it actually *BREAK* through.
So something is definitely busted. I've been on hold for over an hour now waiting to speak with someone. I'm bummed out because I really liked the couch, but I remember seeing as I was putting the legs on it said "Made in China" so I'm not sure how sturdy this thing really is. The page for this couch is now gone from the Costco website so I'm assuming they're all sold out. If they have one in stock locally I may try to exchange and swap with the same one, otherwise I think I'll be moving onto something else.
TL;DR: Felt small crunch on chaise arm rest, further pressure caused audible breaking on what I can only assume is the frame. Either leave arm rest alone (I guess?) or make sure yours isn't susceptible to breaking like mine was.
EDIT: 4 hours later, I spoke directly w/ manufacturer. Couldn't find it in their inventory; apparently it was too new. CSR spoke w/ warehouse manager. They didn't think any more were coming in, or if any did, it would be in extremely small quantities. So just a gamble at this point. Going to be looking for one that I like and order that and initiate the return on this one. Bummer.
EDIT 2: (9/3/2020) Looks like it came back in stock today, so I ordered another one and am putting a call in to process the exchange. So if yours does have issues it seems like they're still producing and stocking them (for now).
Just purchased this and wanted to know if the cushions tend to soften up over time, or will it remain firm? I see this model has been out for over 4 years so was hoping some long term owners could chime in.
I’m considering purchasing the Thomasville Langdon. Unfortunately my dog sheds like crazy. I’m weary of getting something that isn’t easy to vacuum. Anyone have any insight or recommendations?
Hello all,
I'm looking to purchase a sectional for a new apartment I'll be moving into in the next 2 months. I've dwindled my choices down to either the Langdon or the Tisdale sectional and I'm having trouble deciding which is the better option. The pros of the Tisdale are the price, size, and modularity of it however a con that I have been seeing is quality / sometimes comfort. The pros of the Langdon is the chaise, size, and price and the cons are no modularity. Would anyone be able to help comment on the durability on either of these couches! Anything helps to make a more informed decision.
I’m in the market for a sectional sofa and some of the ones at Costco get good reviews (I’m skeptical as it’s their website) and are reasonable prices ($1-3k). In particular the Thomasville and Langdon. Anyone got these or have thoughts on the quality of Costco sofas in general?
If you own a sectional purchased from Costco and you love it, please share which model you have?
Bonus points if it’s stylish and toddler friendly (easy to clean).
