The pictures aren't accurate. The laptop IRL is silver and has the split shift/key on the left and the miniature up and down arrows.
Specs seem good (Though the screen is overkill) but I can't help but wonder what the catch is.
I'm coming from a Thinkpad background, worried I won't like it.
Hey, I've been debating on a laptop to get, but I can't decide. I want a new laptop that doesn't have to be specifically for gaming, as I don't game nearly as much. If I do, it won't be a AAA game with max graphics...maybe just like League of Legends or some Steam game with average graphics.
I mainly just want a good performing laptop with good battery life, since my Surface Pro is on life support. If there is any information I can provide to help with recommendations, please let me know.
Costco has the Slim 7i (Intel Arc GPU) at $899 and the Legion Pro 5 (4060 GPU) at $999 currently. Buying from them because of the return policy and warranty seems amazing.
Thanks.
The Slim 7i is $1,200 right now and the Slim 7 Pro is $1,300, both at Costco.
I can't decide between the two...leaning towards the Slim 7i because the number pad would be very helpful when I'm working in spreadsheets, but I also know it has the Intel Arc which is new and untested.
What are your thoughts between the two?
Do they up the warranty to two years with Lenovo or their own?
