I usually get discounts via my employer (major hospital in “large” Southern city). These kinds of discounts seem to be geared towards first-timers only, though. That’s a bummer.

FYI - Charmin Ultra Soft “Charmin Blue” got a new SKU - new item number is 1984539 - with label that claims that it’s “new and improved” - whatever that means, and price is now higher. Sometimes when the item number for products change, per unit or per ounce pricing stays the same even if amount or size changes. Detergent is usually a good example of this: less liquid amount doesn’t necessarily indicate “shrinkflation”, many times it’s a formulation change that yields more wash loads. But unfortunately with this, it looks like the size is staying the same, while the price is increasing. So unless “new and improved” means that you can actually use less sheets to wipe, then it just seems like an excuse for Charmin to raise prices.

Friendly reminder that if you purchased any of the coupon book items recently, you can request a price adjustment for the difference at your warehouse if it’s been within 30 days from your purchase date once the sale starts. At my warehouse, it’s at the returns counter, at other warehouses, it may be a different counter. Some warehouses may require a physical receipt, but most usually don’t. I am an executive member but would like to stop getting the Costco connection magazine in the mail, except that it comes with executive coupons periodically. I just received coupons in the latest magazine this week, valid for the first half of September - where can I find these online or in the app so I can cancel the magazine by mail?

The executive coupons will appear on your Costco app on the FIRST day of the sale. Just scroll down and you'll see them. If you don't see them, just search for executive coupons on the app and they'll come up. You can use these coupons at the register.

Costco Canada doesn’t usually send out specific “executive member” coupons, but you do get the 2% annual reward. Most deals are for all members and show up in the monthly coupon book or the app. Best tip: check the “Warehouse Savings” section online or grab the flyer near the entrance each visit.
